A Class 7b and 8 facility, with roughly 13,800sqm of additions taking the greenhouse to about 19,600sqm.

Our role is staged Construction Certificates, Principal Certifier and Occupation Certificate. CC1 for footings was issued in April 2026, with later stages under way.

The Building Code is not written for a building of this size carrying almost no fuel load, so a greenhouse at this scale gets caught in technical requirements designed for something else entirely. The site is also bushfire-prone. A fire engineered solution was prepared by RED Fire Engineers, and we reviewed and approved it as certifier, including the Fire and Rescue NSW referral.
Issuing the Construction Certificates in stages is what protected the programme. It let the slow excavation and civil works run alongside the approvals instead of waiting behind them.
